THE SUDDEN POP QUIZ (OHH NO!!!)
Assalamualaikum and hi everyone, today class we learn about the new topic which is Microscopy. First of all the objective of this topic are that we will be able to identify and compare the use of dark field, bright field, phase contrast, fluorescent and electron microscopes. The other objective is that we able to describe the use of staining in microscopy. Below are image of microscopy with the lable.
In the class we also discuss about the skin pathogen which is skin disease. The cause of pimples are Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus .Cutibacterium (Propionibacterium) acnes is the relatively slow-growing, typically aerotolerant anaerobic, Gram-positive bacterium (rod) linked to the skin condition of acne. For more information about this you can visit this website Propionibacterium

We also discuss about the type of microscope which are bright field, dark field, phase-contrast, electron microscope and fluorescence microscope. We also learn about the dark field microscope that it can observe the internal structure of the microorganisms. For example Sporangium. Sporangium will lyse when mature and will released it zoospore. Zoospore is a fungi spore with a flagella. The function of flagella is that zoospore to be able to move in rumen fluid.

We also discuss about biofilms, it is a layer of microbe that stick to wet surfaces. It resistance to antibiotic and mainly found at teeth. Other than that, we learn about EPEC interacting with HeLa cells. It is of the microbial interaction. EPEC stands for Enteropathogenic Escerichia coli it is a diarheal pathogen of young child found in the intestines. HeLa cell is a immortal cell line that preserved and it is the the oldest and commonly used human cell line.
